About Us

Jersey Village special events are hosted and coordinated by the Parks and Recreation Department and its Recreation and Events Committee. We are dedicated to producing high-quality, family friendly events for the City of Jersey Village. These events are:

Movies in the Village

Movies starts at dusk (about 8:30pm)

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and flashlights for an evening at the movies. Admission is free! We will have popcorn available.

Clark Henry Park, Saturday, May 4, 2019:

May the 'Fourth' be with you! On the unofficial international Star Wars day, join the Parks and Recreation Department in your best Star Wars Costumes to enter for a chance to win an awesome prize! Star Wars VI: The Force Awakens (PG13) viewer discretion is advised.

Clark Henry Park, Saturday, June 8, 2019:

June 8th is National Best Friend Day, so bring your best friend to this great Pixar buddy film! Wreck it Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet (PG) (2018)

Jersey Meadows Golf Course, Saturday, July 13, 2019:

Come out to the Jersey Meadows Golf Course and enjoy this classic film! Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark (PG) (1981) viewer discretion is advised.

Clark Henry Pool, Saturday, August 10, 2019:

Come out to Clark Henry Pool and dive-in for this hilarious monster flick! Join Dracula and the gang as they go on a cruise - come in your best floral print swim suits! Hotel Transylvania 3 (PG) (2018)

Independence Day Parade

July 4, 2019

Celebrate America with the City of Jersey Village this July 4^th! The Independence Day Parade starts at 9:00 am, at the Civic Center, down Jersey Drive and ending at Clark Henry Park. Come out and cheer on the parade or join us for frozen treats at the Clark Henry afterward.

Want to be in the parade? All types of entries are welcome including bands, floats, bicycles, walkers and wagons. Submit applications to jrodrigue@ci.jersey-village.tx.us.

Doggy Dip Day
September 7, 2019

Bring your four-legged friends to an evening at the Jersey Village Pool! The pool season is over, and when the swimmers are away, the dogs will play. This is a free event for all of our furry residents. An updated rabies vaccination is required for entry into this event.

The event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Jersey Village Pool.

Food Truck Rally
September 28, 2019

One of the fastest growing trends in food and in Parks and Recreation is the food truck. What better way to celebrate food, community, and parks than to have a food truck rally in Jersey Village? List of Food Trucks to be determined. Live music and other activities also available.

Fall Frolic

October 18, 2019

Join the Parks and Recreation Department, the Recreation and Events Committee, and Post Elementary for this year’s Fall Frolic. We will have games, food, bounce houses, costume contests, music, and most importantly: candy! The event will be 6:00 - 9:00 pm.

Texas Arbor Day
November 1, 2019

They clean air and water, slow climate change, ease poverty and hunger, prevent species loss, and feed the human soul. All we need to do is plant and care for them. Let’s work together to make it happen in Jersey Village.

Holiday in the Village

December 1, 2019

December brings shopping, Santa, and snow to Jersey Village! This event, held at the Civic Center from 12:00 to 3:00 pm, showcases local vendors. Kids young and old will have an opportunity to play in freshly blown snow and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Spring Fling

Outdoor Festival

March 28, 2020

Spring is here! Join the Parks and Recreation Department at Clark Henry Park for a day of fun while we celebrate the spring and the outdoors. This free festival will have games, arts, music, free fitness classes, outdoor education, bounce houses, petting zoo, rock wall, the splash pad, food trucks and more!

Prior to the festival will be the Daisy Dash 5K Fun Run! Register for the Daisy Dash at the Race Website!

Egg Hunt

April 2020

Bring out the family for an “egg-traordinary” time! The event is now at Clark Henry Park beginning at 2:00 pm! There will be two egg hunts at 2:30 and 3:30 pm, for age groups 0-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10+.

There will also be cookie decorating, crafts, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and much more!
